SwiftConnect awarded 'Technology Innovation of the Year'

We’re delighted to have scooped the  prestigious Technology Innovation of the Year Award at the Technology Ireland Industry Awards 2020.

CitySwift was named winner of the Technology Ireland ‘Technology Innovation of the Year’ Award at the 28th Annual Technology Ireland Industry Awards on Thursday 26th November, for our AI-driven bus capacity prediction technology SwiftConnect.

The event was supported by platinum sponsors EY and gold sponsors Fidelity Investments, Workhuman, and Enterprise Ireland. Other award winners on the night were NearForm with their Covid-19 Contact Tracing App, VMware, AWS, Microsoft (DreamSpace), Fenergo, Swift Comply, Fineos and TEKenable.

Commenting on the win, Brian O’Rourke, our Co-Founder and CEO said: “We’re extremely proud to be recognised as an Irish technology innovator, and to have played a role in the battle against Covid-19. Rather than allowing the pandemic to negatively impact our business, we pulled together, innovated, and most importantly executed on a vision to help public transport operators get passengers safely back on the bus.”
