CitySwift’s Decision Intelligence platform will enable Blackpool Transport to optimise Tramway operations and reduce costs through accurate passenger demand data analysis.
Following on from a successful partnership to optimise Blackpool’s bus network, which enabled the operator to capture 38% more data on average, CitySwift’s partnership with Blackpool Transport has been extended to encompass the operator’s Tramway. This is the first time CitySwift’s platform has been used to track, and report on, tram data, delivering a multi-modal offering to the transport industry.
Blackpool Transport have been proudly serving Blackpool, Fleetwood, Thornton Cleveleys, Lytham St Anne’s and Poulton-le-Fylde with friendly and reliable transport for over 100 years.
CitySwift’s Explore module will be used by Blackpool Transport to understand demand for tram services and continuously monitor tram performance.
