Metroline and CitySwift announce multi-year partnership
Sean O'Shea, CEO of Metroline, and Alan Farrelly, COO and Co-Founder of CitySwift, recently announced their multi-year partnership at the UK and Ireland business leaders' networking dinner at the Mansion House in London.
At the event led by Tánaiste Leo Varadkar, Enterprise Ireland hosted 65 high-growth Irish companies and their UK partners to celebrate the continued strong growth of Irish business in the UK.
During the dinner, Alan announced Metroline's plans to leverage CitySwift's mobility intelligence to support their business growth within the UK. Metroline is one of London’s leading bus operators and is part of ComfortDelGro, one of the world's largest transportation companies, with a global fleet of over 35,000 vehicles.
As part of the partnership, Metroline will utilise CitySwift’s AI-powered solutions to execute their ambitious growth plans in order to win new business, improve passenger experience, and deliver more sustainable transportation networks.
Speaking about the partnership, Sean O’Shea, CEO of Metroline said:
“We are delighted to be working with CitySwift to further realise Metroline’s strategic goals beyond London. CitySwift’s innovative use of big data and algorithms to provide real-time analysis of bus services has been transformative for us, replacing time consuming manual processes enabling us to create smarter and more efficient bids for work outside of London. We look forward to working closely with CitySwift on future bids.”
Alan Farrelly, COO and Co-Founder of CitySwift also commented:
"CitySwift is delighted to help Metroline leverage the power of mobility intelligence to deliver dynamic networks matched to the needs of their passengers. The platform will enable Metroline to intelligently plan and adapt their operations to provide more efficient, reliable and sustainable services, which will ultimately grow their networks across the UK."
